A Missouri Lottery player got a big surprise when he purchased a “24K Gold” Scratchers ticket and uncovered the first of the games’ four $100,000 prizes.
The winning ticket was purchased at Dierbergs, 6211 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, in St. Peters.
The winner summed up his excitement in a few simple words.
“We’re very happy to have it.”
“24K Gold” is a $20 ticket. So far, players have won over $32.4 million on the game, and over $18.3 million remain in unclaimed prizes – including one more top prize of $2 million and three additional prizes of $100,000.
In FY23, players in St. Charles County won more than $63.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $6.3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
