A Missouri Lottery player in Columbia got emotional after winning a $50,000 prize on a “Millionaire Blowout” Scratchers ticket.

“I called my mom crying,” the winner shared. “I’m still in shock!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Mart, 5481 E. St. Charles Road, in Columbia.

“I was doing my normal rounds and stopped at the Petro-Mart to get a drink, and I had a feeling,” he recalled. “I bought a $30 ticket and won $50, so I bought a $50 (Millionaire Blowout) ticket.

“I went outside and scratched off the ‘Bonus’ play at the top of the ticket and saw $10,000. I flipped out!” he said. “I kept scratching and thought, ‘Oh, it’s more than that.’”

The prizes totaled $50,000.

He shared plans to donate some of his winnings and take a trip to Las Vegas.

“I’m just going with the wind at this point,” he laughed. “I’m so blessed.”

“Millionaire Blowout” is the Missouri Lottery’s first $50 game and currently offers over $159.7 million in unclaimed prizes, including 21 more $50,000 prizes, nine $1 million second prizes and two $5 million top prizes.
