A Missouri Lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket at Everyday, 5802 E. 125th St. in Grandview, won a $100,000 prize in the Sept. 3 drawing. The winning numbers that night were 3, 16, 29, 61 and 69 with a Powerball number of 22. 

The winning ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, along with the Powerball number. By adding the Power Play option to his ticket, the winner doubled the base prize of $50,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 2. The end result was a $100,000 Powerball prize. 

Powerball is a multistate Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tonight’s estimated jackpot is $81 Million.

In FY24, players in Jackson County won more than $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $22 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
