A Missouri Lottery player in St. Charles County was ecstatic to discover her Show Me Cash ticket from the Sept. 17 drawing was a jackpot winner. 

While claiming her prize at Lottery Headquarters in Jefferson City, she shared she triple-checked the ticket and made sure she signed it as soon as she realized she had won. 

“I can’t believe it! It still doesn’t seem real!” she laughed. “I can buy a house! I can really buy a house!”

The ticket she purchased at QuikTrip, 2260 1st Capitol Drive in St. Charles, was one of two tickets for the Sept. 17 drawing that matched match all five numbers drawn.  She and the other winning ticket holder will split the $498,000 jackpot equally. 

Show Me Cash is a daily Draw Game which offers jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $63,000.

In FY24, players in St. Charles County won more than $68.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $16.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
