A Missouri Lottery player in Cole County won a $50,000 Powerball prize in the Sept. 6 drawing on a ticket purchased at MPC, 301 Ellis Blvd., in Jefferson City.

The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball. The winning numbers on Sept. 6 were 11, 23, 44, 61 and 62, and the Powerball number was 17.

The win occurred in the same drawing that produced a $893.5 million jackpot winner in Missouri, as well as two other $50,000 winning tickets. 

In FY24, players in Cole County won more than $14.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $7.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
