A Missouri Lottery player in Maryville who uncovered a $100,000 top prize on a “Fat Wallet” Scratchers ticket couldn’t wait to share the news with her kids.

“I called my daughter. She wanted to call her brother because ‘he wouldn’t believe me!’” she laughed.

She purchased the winning ticket at Casey’s, 1719 E. First St., in Maryville.

To date, players have won more than $5.1 million in prizes in the “Fat Wallet” game, with more than $9.4 million in prizes yet to be claimed – including two additional top prizes of $100,000.

In FY24, Nodaway County players won more than $1.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $165,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $4.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the city.
