Two sisters in St. Louis uncovered a $50,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket purchased at Gas Mart, 2600 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis.

“I chose the ticket with my sister. We split it and took turns scratching,” one of the winners explained. “It was very exciting! I didn’t believe it at first.”

To date, players have won more than $42.4 million in prizes in the “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers game – a $50 ticket with more than $224 million in prizes yet to be claimed – including two $5 million top prizes, three $1 million second-tier prizes and 43 additional prizes of $50,000. 

Currently, players can also enter their eligible $30 and $50 Scratchers tickets into their My Lottery^® Players Club accounts for a chance to win $500 cash in the next monthly “Scratch Big, Win Big!” drawing. 

In FY24, St. Louis County players won more than $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $161.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the city.
