Jackson County Scratchers Player Wins $50,000

A Missouri Lottery player has claimed the first of five $50,000 prizes available on a “Gold Rush” Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at Walmart, 10300 E. Highway 350 in Raytown, and redeemed at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on Oct. 1.


To date, “Gold Rush” players have won over $9.3 million in prizes since the $10 game was released in July. More than $25.8 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including both top prizes of $1 million and four more $50,000 prizes. 


 In FY24, players in Jackson County won more than $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $22 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
