The excitement of winning a $100,000 Scratchers prize on a “Magnificent Millions” ticket left one Missouri Lottery player in St. Charles County all shook up. 

“I was so excited!” she said. “I was shaking on the inside.”

The winner purchased the ticket at Circle K, 602 N. Main St. in O’Fallon, and scratched it off right away.

“I called my husband and he was like, ‘You’re lying!’” the winner said. “I had to send him a picture of it and then he took off work to meet me.” 

She added she’s still trying to process the win.

“(I’m) just so nervous and excited,” she said.   

Since “Magnificent Millions” began on Aug. 25, players have won over $7.9 million in prizes playing the $20 Scratchers game. Over $42.8 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $2 million and three additional prizes of $100,000. 

Players who purchased tickets in St. Charles County in FY24 won more than $68.2 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $16.5 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
