A Missouri Lottery player was caught by surprise when she uncovered a top prize on the “Merry Money” Scratchers ticket she purchased at Casey’s, 816 St. Louis St., in West Plains. 

“I stopped at Casey’s and grabbed a couple of tickets before work,” shared the winner, adding it was a shock to see the $100,000 prize. 

 “I have never won anything this big before!” she exclaimed. 

So far, “Merry Money” players have won over “$1.1 million in prizes since the $5 game was released on Oct. 13. Over $10 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including two additional top prizes of $100,000 and two $20,000 prizes. 

In FY25, players in Howell County won more than $7.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $645,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $459,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
