Club Keno Game Rules

Game Description

Keno is a 20/80 Lottery Draw Game with set prize amounts. For each drawing, a player may choose to play from 1 to 10 Spots and a corresponding selection of number choices from 1 to 80. That is the player's game play. The Lottery then selects twenty winning numbers from 1 to 80 and awards prizes based on the extent to which the game play appearing on a player's ticket matches the winning numbers in a drawing for which the player's ticket was purchased.

Definitions

For the purposes of Club Keno, the following definitions apply, unless specified otherwise:

  1. "Exchange ticket" refers to a printed paper issued by a terminal to replace a game ticket that had been purchased for play in multiple drawings and was validated before the last drawing appearing on the game ticket. An exchange ticket shall contain the exact game play and future drawing dates appearing on the validated game ticket it is replacing and shall have all other characteristics of a game ticket except as otherwise stated in these rules. An exchange ticket shall not contain a ticket price.
  2. "Game play" refers to the number or group of numbers appearing on a ticket for a particular spot which is compared to the winning numbers, selected at the drawings appearing on the ticket, to determine the prize payment for which the ticket may be redeemed.
  3. "Playslip" refers to the paper form used by a player to select game preferences and includes: the amount the player will play on the ticket containing the game play; the number of drawings in which the ticket will be played; the choice to play the Bulls-Eye option or the Club Keno Multiplier option. While multiple drawings can be selected on each playslip, only one game play (number selection) may be marked per playslip.
  4. "Game ticket" or "ticket" refers to a printed paper on Missouri Lottery ticket stock issued by a terminal as a receipt for the game play selected by a player that contains the following: the logo "Club Keno;" one game play; the dates of the drawings in which the ticket may be played; the number of consecutive drawings in which the ticket may be played; the identifying number for each such drawing; the price of the ticket; a six-digit retailer number; a serial number; the date the ticket was purchased; a bar code; the phrase "BULLS EYE PLAYED: YES" if that option has been selected, OR "BULLS EYE PLAYED: NO," if that option has not been selected; "DOUBLE BULLS EYE PLAYED: YES" if that option has been selected OR "DOUBLE BULLS- EYE PLAYED: NO", if that option has not been selected; the phrase "MULTIPLIER PLAYED: YES" if that option has been selected, OR "MULTIPLIER PLAYED: NO" if that option has not been selected.

Club Keno Bulls-Eye increases the amount of certain prizes won in a game play.
  6. "Double Bulls-Eye" refers to the Club Keno play option whereby a player, by paying an additional $2 for each dollar wagered on a Club Keno game play, may be entitled to receive a larger prize for correctly selecting winning numbers, including the green Double Bulls-Eye and/or red Bulls-Eye number that is drawn each drawing. Club Keno Double Bulls-Eye increases the amount of certain prizes won in a game play.
  7. "Keno Multiplier" refers to the Club Keno play option whereby a player, by paying an additional $1 for each dollar wagered on a Club Keno game play, may be entitled to receive a larger prize for correctly selecting winning numbers. How to play Club Keno using a paper playslip

  1. Select how many Spots (numbers) you'd like to play, from 1 to 10. For example, a 7-Spot game means you would choose seven numbers.
  2. Based on how many spots you selected in Step 1, choose the numbers you'd like to play, from 1 through 80, by placing a heavy mark in each circle. To have the terminal select the numbers randomly for you, mark the "Quick Pick" circle. If you make a mistake, start over on a new playslip.
  3. Choose how many consecutive drawings you would like to play by marking 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20. This will play your selected numbers for that many drawings.
  4. Choose how much you would like to play per drawing. Prizes on the back of the playslip are based on $1 wagers and are multiplied based on the amount played per drawing. For example, the prize shown for matching all 4 numbers in a 4-Spot base Club Keno game is $60. If the same game situation was played with a $3 wager per drawing, that prize would triple to $180. You may play each drawing for $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20.
  5. If desired, choose your add-on — Multiplier, Bulls-Eye or Double Bulls-Eye.

For example, if you play $2 per drawing for five consecutive drawings, the total cost is $10. The maximum wager per ticket is $250.
  4. Choose whether to add Multiplier by selecting "Yes" or "No." The Multiplier feature can multiply your regular winnings by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times! Before each drawing, a wheel is spun to determine the Multiplier number for that drawing. See "Chances to Win" for the chances of each Multiplier number being selected. Adding Multiplier will double the total cost of your Club Keno ticket.

Adding Double Bulls-Eye will triple the total cost of your Club Keno ticket.

An exchange ticket shall be issued at the time the original game ticket is validated for the remainder of the drawings appearing on the validated game ticket.

  2. Prizes for each drawing are determined and awarded based on how many numbers contained in a game play on a ticket match the winning numbers selected at that drawing. Prizes are determined separately for each spot category (see back of playslip or MOLottery.com for prize payout tables).
